Candidates leave conservative voters dissatisfied, demoralized and disgusted
"Everybody's looking for Ronald Reagan!"
For three decades, the Republican presidential nominating contest has served to unify the national party's coalition of social, economic and foreign policy conservatives in advance of a general election fight with Democrats.
This year, it is ripping that coalition apart.
Republicans are divided, confused and sometimes demoralized about their choices for president. Do they pick a flipflopping Mormon? A psycho? The other psycho? A gay-loving, baby-killing, cross-dressing man-whore?
"There is no party here anymore. It's just a shell."

After the conservative policies have degraded the US & world to it's present point, it's LONG overdue that they suffered at least SOME political fallout, the assholes.
Let me second that thought, screw them, ALL their candidates are damaged goods, we are going to wipe the floor up with them, and when we do perhaps we will have a new speaker of the house in Chris Dodd...
