Dead party walking

A serenade for tiny little strings.

"The GOP candidates are a feeble group of Bush imitators tied to his disastrous war. And unless the surge turns into a miracle, even front-runner McCain won't beat a Democrat." -- Gary Kamiya at Salon breaks down the GOP's pathetic group of Saint Ronnie-wannabes.

"The GOP folks seem pretty unhappy... lots of people -- even Tom Delay -- are saying they'll stay home if the wrong guy gets nominated. Even Rush Limbaugh is saying he might not support the nominee." (from instapundit, so no link)

As I "told" Mr. Kamiya, whose work I really respect incidently, the only way a "miracle" could happen regarding this "war" (invasion and occupation is ACCURATE!) would be for a time warp to happen, taking us back to the 2000 elections where Mr. Gore WON, and it therefore NEVER HAPPENED. There is no such thing as "winning" an invasion and occupation.

That's QUITE the miracle! Other than that, this was another excellent article from Gary Kamiya.
