A minor disagreement with Pensito article - - I don't think the Republicans' lack of support is due to a lack of NOTABLE Republican candidates, NOR that they're saying anything unusually wacky (by recent Repuke standards). After all, recall that in 2000 'W' was a virtual nobody, other than being a former president's son, which is normally not enough to elect you. And the stupid crap that the Repuke candidates are spewing (immigration problems? Cuba problems? Iraq war is good/necessary/victorious, etc..) are often the same shitty talking-points that they got elected on over the last 20 yrs!
I think (hope?) that enough of the American sheeple have FINALLY had ENOUGH bad news and have correctly traced it back to the Repuke policies! I would suggest that even that asshole 'Saint Ronnie Reagan' couldn't win as a Republican given their present situation today.
