We are so kicking ass! As things continue to go remarkably well in Iraq since the start of the glorious surge, a roadside bomb killed three U.S. soldiers and an interpreter in Diyala province, the same day a suicide bomber killed five U.S. soldiers in Baghdad.
At least 42 people were killed in violence across Iraq on Tuesday, including 16 when a bus going to a funeral hit a roadside bomb.
Winning hearts and minds: Six years into the war, "many Iraqis are asking if the violence and upheaval that turned their lives upside down was worth it."
Oh, this just in: the top US commander in the Middle East and a strong opponent of a war with Iran, has "resigned."
