When a republican candidate "misspeaks," does he make a sound?

Uh, no. The SCLM's greasy-lipped infatuation with rethugs -- be it the retarded, country-destroying liar currently in the WH or the senile old coot running to replace him -- continues unabated.

Of the reporters who have copped to [NBC's Chuck] Todd’s the media will let McCain get away with it mentality, perhaps most disturbing was Susan Page of USA Toady who on MSNBC went so far as to offer a (feeble) excuse for McCain: “Most Americans can’t tell you the difference between Sunnis and Shiites, either.”

And it’s definitely going to stay that way — if the people charged with informing “most Americans” continue to do their job selectively.
Sigh. Yesterday evening, CNN devoted two straight hours to covering Rev Wright and Hillary's sniper comment. If CSI reruns had started any earlier, I would've been there. As it were, I played Bejeweled with the sound up. And I could still hear Wolf Blitzer's stupid gpuke ballsnorgling. And it's not over yet --
