Farking dumbass asks, do regular people "get" negroes?

Chris Matthews, on the April 1 edition of Nobrains:

"OK. Let me ask you about how [Sen. Obama] -- how's he connect with regular people? Does he? Or does he only appeal to people who come from the African-American community and from the people who have college or advanced degrees?"
Next: they're supposed to be good at sports, but what's the deal with black people and bowling?

One of the more discerning comments I ever heard Dan Rather repeat was when he said (approximately) 'News coverage is like a gas - - it expands to fill any volume". That CERTAINLY is brought home to me when I hear/read some of these inane and pandering comments by these 'pundits' (or pundit-wanna-bes)on these cable 'news' programs. They just reach for material to fill their daily hour or two hours or whatever period, and the conservative ones have to try to JUST bash non-conservatives, which is REALLY hard nowadays when the conservatives have (at least until 2006) been in power and have mucked things up royally! (Hard to step around that big elephant-crap in the living room.) There's a lot of topics that they -- as true conservative demagogues -- have to pretend don't exist. Trouble is that those topics (US militarism, peak-oil, population pressures, global warming, distribution of wealth, etc) are becoming more and more apparent to the US Sheeple, if only dimly at the moment.

Obama's problem was that he tried to bowl sober. It just can't be done.
