And the MSM, as usual, blows something completely out of proportion and gets things wrong. The wall-to-wall coverage of "Obama's [so-called] blunder!!" yesterday was unbelievably ridiculous and pathetic. People are bitter. Bitter and pissed off at being pissed on.
"Barack Obama understands us. He's got it right, we are frustrated -- frustrated with polices that enable businesses to leave our community, pensions to be stripped, health care benefits to be taken away and homes foreclosed. Unlike his opponents, who have been part of the Washington establishment that are out of touch with us, Barack Obama will change Washington. It is policies that hurt us. He will take on the special interests and fight for us."-- Mayor John Brenner of York, Pa.
"If someone created a website which allowed us to vote on one simple question, 'are we bitter about how things have been going here in the United States', do you think the happy campers would 'win' or do you think the Americans who are fed up, been pushed down, passed over and trickled on would outnumber those who prefer to wear blinders?"-- commenter here.
"After spending a day talking with Pennsylvania voters, it seems to me the anger Obama described in his now controversial comments* might not have been too far off the mark."-- CNN Senior Producer Sasha Johnson .

Obama is spending a ton on ads. I say he should go national with "regular" folks talking about how bitter they are about the leaders of their country for the last 30 years. I hope they do not stop with just the economic "raw deal", but talk about what it is like to live in a country that was once admired and envied for its high moral principles and is now scorned and ridiculed for its warmongering and torture.
