You know it really is an accomplishment of sorts to be the worst president this country has ever had, given how low that bar had been set.

The big problem is that a lot of what W has done (OTHER than the garnering the negative publicity) actually IS considered a
'success' by the Neo-cons who promoted him, (and Reagan before him..) For the most part, W has legitimatized US imperialism & militarism (including illegal invasions, bombings, torture) and de-legitimatized social spending,(any non-military government spending, for that matter, and have financially made it hard for successors to spend money to pull us out of this recession), diplomacy, and Constitutional government. So the radical Neo-con agenda is proceeding successfully - - which is fine for the 10% who really like that sort of shit, but terrible for the remaining 90% of us and the world who realize that this is NOT the way the world can long survive, and a horrible way for most people to live.
