Accompanied by a tiny violin plaintively wailing, rethugs lose another race in yet another traditional GOP stronghold:
Democrat Travis Childers won Tuesday’s Mississippi special election runoff for Sen. Roger Wicker’s (R-oadkill) former House seat, handing Democrats the biggest of their three special election takeovers this cycle and sending a listless GOP further into a state of disarray.
The loss could send shockwaves through the Republican Party, where murmurs about a leadership shakeup have become more and more audible.

Awwww. More:
GOP hits new new low, faces bleak November as karma finally starts to catch up with them:
The sky is falling on House Republicans and there is no sign of it letting up. The GOP loss in Mississippi’s special election Tuesday is the strongest sign yet that the Republican Party is in shambles. And while some Republicans see a light at the end of the tunnel, that light more likely represents the Democratic train that is primed to mow down more Republicans in November. The third straight House special election loss in three conservative districts this year is a clear indication that the GOP brand is turning off voters...
GOP stomping mad over prospects. Awwwww.
Lots of very glum faces among House GOP members this morning as they emerged from their weekly closed-door session. The political situation is not good, and they aren't even trying to deny it. Rep. Tom Davis stomped on the concrete floor of the Capitol basement when asked by reporters about Republican fortunes at the moment. "This is the floor," he said, by way of explanation. "We're below the floor."
Geez, pal, after eight years of this complete and utter bullshit -- tax cuts for the wealthy, war without end, the economy in the crapper, corruption and myriad ethical problems, incompetence, pissing on the Constitution, rising gas prices, more corruption -- after rubber-stamping your asshole buddy in the WH for years -- wtf did you expect?
100 more years!

What really surprises me is that they haven't gone the way of the whigs. And that's a little scary. Sheeple will still actually vote for them.
What did they expect? Endless love and slobbering gratitude, that's what. And, as UndieLib says, there's still that fucking insane 28 percent who will drive up to Crawford just to breathe the same fucking air as fucking aWol even if he doesn't invite them over for the Wedding. Gads, what a hateful bunch of fuckwits.
