Senile Husband of Overmade Up Trollop: For Appeasement Before he Was Against It

Appeasementgate
Senator McSame Then

Given his own position on Hamas, McCain is the last politician who should be attacking Obama. Two years ago, just after Hamas won the Palestinian parliamentary elections, I interviewed McCain for the British network Sky News’s “World News Tonight” program. Here is the crucial part of our exchange:
I asked: “Do you think that American diplomats should be operating the way they have in the past, working with the Palestinian government if Hamas is now in charge?”
McCain answered: “They’re the government; sooner or later we are going to have to deal with them, one way or another, and I understand why this administration and previous administrations had such antipathy towards Hamas because of their dedication to violence and the things that they not only espouse but practice, so . . . but it’s a new reality in the Middle East. I think the lesson is people want security and a decent life and decent future, that they want democracy. Fatah was not giving them that.”
And pandering presidential cadidate McBush now:
Asked if Obama was an appeaser, McCain said Obama must explain why he wants to talk with leaders like Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and added that Obama's position was a serious error. "It shows naivete and inexperience and lack of judgment to say that he wants to sit down across the table from an individual who leads a country that says Israel is a stinking corpse, that is dedicated to the extinction of the state of Israel. My question is, what does he want to talk about?"
Saint Reagan talked with Gorbachev and negotiated with the Iranians in the arms for hostages deal.
Was Reagan an appeaser too?
And what does the "liberal media" think about that?
Doh! I forgot, 9-11 changed EVERYTHING!

I think that McInsane has ably demonstrated that the ONLY thing he 'is for' is for getting himself elected as president. If the US public polled positive numbers on witchcraft tomorrow, a day later McCane would come out 'strongly in favor of the Wiccan community'. He is worse than any politician I can recall in recent memory. Most politicians -- like W for instance -- have a set of values (in W's case, shitty values) that they may try to hide from the electorate so that they can get elected. So they actually do have one set of values, but they have to misrepresent them to get elected (after all, what poor person would want to vote for the Repukes if the Repukes represented their economic programs accurately). But McCrank seems to literally change his values in order to 'appease' the right-wing/fundie base of the Repukes..
