Former WH spokes-liar to testify in CIA leak case

No, the other one.

Scott McClellan will testify before a House committee next week about whether Vice President Dick Cheney ordered him to make misleading public statements lie about the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame's identity.

"I have extended an invitation to Mr. McClellan to testify before the Judiciary Committee after discussions between committee staff and his attorneys," House Judiciary Chair John Conyers said. "In his book, Mr. McClellan suggests that senior White House officials may have obstructed justice and engaged in a coverup regarding the Valerie Plame leak. This alleged activity could well extend beyond the scope of the offenses for which Scooter Libby has been convicted and deserves further attention."

McClellan will testify publicly and under oath before the House Judiciary Committee on June 20 about the White House's role in the leak and its response, his attorneys said on Monday.
Update: Scott McClellan's wife and dog were found dead this morning...

//bad joke, I know, but I wouldn't put it past them.

I think Scotty wrote this book because he hoped it would serve as his defense come judgment day for being complicit in the lies he told while employed by lil' Bush. "Oh, I serve at the pleasure of the president. . ."[oh puke] He knew exactly what was going on. Otherwise, if he has such great, personal affection for Georgie Porgie like he keeps saying, why on earth would he pen a book about the criminal aspects of this administration, instead of say, how much fun it was to clear brush with bush, or what great pancakes big barb made, or how wonderful his childhood was, or, well you get the point. Yep, Kucinich's Resolution for impeachment sums it up. http://chun.afterdowningstreet.org/amomentoftruth.pdf
