This reminds me -- I'm seeing more and more calls for Obama to fight back against McCain, and I have to agree. He's got to start, because unfortunately what people remember are the outrageous stuff -- you know, the sound bites the cable news whores play over and over and over again. I know that's all those idiots on CNN could talk about yesterday evening. They say "if it bleeds, it leads," and that's proving to be very true. Obama has to get out there and start kicking major ass.
McCain sez that Obama fella's gonna take away all our possums!! Ah'm gonna vote for the ol' loon!

Right as usual Maru! The 'TV-news' voter will just catch snippets and figure (often incorrectly) that "where there's smoke there's fire", not realizing that the MSM has ALWAYS been owned/operated by the status quo business people who depend on advertising revenues for 70%+ of their income for print media, and higher for electronic. So the 'conservatives' (a misnomer in itself, unless you mean 'conserving' hard-times and injustice, but NOT the environment or freedom) get to make whatever crazy non-factual charges they want with only slight fact-checking/mild correction by the MSM media, while the left/liberal/progressives are often pilloried for telling THE TRUTH, or (if they tell TOO MUCH truth) are roundly ignored!
