Failin wanted to ban books as mayor

It just keeps getting better and better.

As mayor of North Lockjaw, Sarah Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times.

"She asked the library how she could go about banning books," because some voters got squirrely at the thought they might have inappropriate language in them.

When the librarian tried to demur, Palin threatened to fire her for not giving Palin her "full support."
In a related story, C&L reports that the McCain campaign is "using stall tactics in order to delay the release" of the Troopergate report, which was to be announced right before the election. If they have nothing to hide, why are they trying to hide it?

Jebus, it really IS like Bush and Cheney all over again.

In one more related story, uh-oh!
