Dishonest, dishonorable and despicable, part 2

This sounded better in the original German. What it says is absolutely frightening:

Palin's routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness.

In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric's questions for her "less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media." {Yeah, she asked important, substantive questions of the person who's running to be vice president of the US. The nerve of that woman. -- Ed.}

At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, 'Sit down, boy.'

Holy shit. Oh... my... fucking... God. No matter how many times I read this, the evil, the hatred ... they just pour off in waves. This is America? 2008? Holy fucking crap. Dana "mmmllllph!" Milbank seemed to think it was sorta cute. His readers, though, were appalled:

Rather than making a pit bull look tame, this viciously irresponsible woman makes a pit bull look like a paragon of intelligent, disciplined behavior.

Palin is ignorant, smug, dishonest, and incendiary. A despicable combination. Is this really the note on which John McCain wants to end his political career?

Look's like Sarah has been pallin' around with the Klan.

McCain-Palin is guilty of stirring up hatred like the Nazis did prior to World War II in Germany. She is a vile, nasty person.

Why are Republicans so proud of this idiot? I swear to God she makes Bush look Presidential.

Is this what it takes to win, John McCain? Have you no shame?

I can't believe that John McCain has sunk so low that he and his running mate would incite people to riot. McCain claims to put country first.If this was true, he would resign today, to stop these despicable displays.

[T]he "kill him" rally cry is one of the darkest days in our political history... and Palin did not say anything.

So, the desperate McFailin' campaign is turning to the Kristallnacht strategy, huh? Nice to see the GOP finally showing its true colors: hate and bigotry.

She's become rabid with power, and is making a debacle of this election. John McCain, you should be ashamed for unleashing this repugnant woman.

"Is this what it takes to win, John McCain? Have you no shame?"
