What with the spectre looming of a total rethuglican massacre this election, Hume believes he is quitting at the right time. He expects to devote more time to activities such as his family, his gay lifestyle, and the further cultivation of his smug faux-gravitas persona. The hypocritical twat said he also intends to pursue his "spiritual life" with more vigor than ever, after spending the last eight years lying through his teeth and getting taken up the ass by Satan's porcine handmaiden Karl Rove.
