Reperv breaks wind, silence on sex scandal

A nation screams in ennui.

Even today, two years after Mark Foley's very public fall from grace, the disgraced former congressman can't explain why he sent lurid, sexually-explicit messages to hot hot hot male teens. {snip}

"These were 17-year-olds, just months from being men. Hot, firm, supple young men. Mmmmlllllllrrrrrrghgh."

But whatever the case, he refuses to take full responsibility. "There was never anywhere in those conversations where someone said, 'Stop,' or 'I'm not enjoying this,' or 'This is inappropriate'," he said, breathing a heavy sigh, his eyes wandering toward a old poster of Marky Mark's Calvin Klein underpants ad.

"In public life, you dream of the day they'll name a hospital after you, or a bridge or a post office," Foley said. "Heh. Posts."
