Today's articles that made me want to vomit in fury

  • The Bush lapdog media: "Obama should be more open to the press."
Isn't that cute. After eight years spent kowtowing to the most secretive [mis]administration ever, now they open their worthless cakeholes. Heckuva job, you useless twats.

  • Preznit Folksy McCornpone Privilege: "I didn't compromise my soul to be a popular guy."
There are so many things wrong here I... fuck. My head hurts.

  • Porculant antichrist Karl Rove: "Obama needs to be more transparent in the Fitzgerald investigation."
  • Don Siegelman whuh? Valerie Plame who? Why isn't this jerkoff in prison???

You're so right, Maru. Those articles so well demonstrate a couple of key components of the last 8 yrs of Bush/Neo-con rule:
1.) Neo-cons will say virtually ANYTHING to temporarily 'prevail'. They will trash former friend or foe alike. They're ALWAYS in fight mode. Like wild, predatory animals they seem to live in the moment... the lie they told half-an-hour ago is 'old news' and anyway, they're now telling a NEW and even more outrageous lie, so why even bother to discredit the last one?
2.) The MSM will cover politics with a 'false-balance' -- the Dems are bad and the Repukes are bad... the Dems lie and the Repukes lie, so you can't trust either. Of course, that's like comparing a person who got his/her first speeding ticket for going 12 MPH over with a drunk-driver who had 5 previous DUI convictions and finally was speeding and killed somebody..."they're both speeders". Yes, but there's the little matter of DEGREE, which can make ALL the difference in the world.
