"Preznit Bush, GOP didn't hurt the economy"

"I get so angry when people suggest the rebooblican party deserves any blame for the massive out-of-control budget and banking crises perpetrated under our watch for the past eight years," said the apropos-ly-named Sen. Crapo of Rectum, Idaho.

"We're being unfairly blamed for rubberstamping everything Karl put on our desks -- and for the current administration to keep bringing up the economy when the economy is doing so badly is just plain wrong," he added, whining.

Jerkoff.

Oh fuck them! The long and short of it is that these are almost 100%CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN policies that have been in place the last 30 yrs! The crazy tax cuts, the welfare reduction, the unlimited militarism*, the 'free trade' job losses, the stagnant wages, the anti-regulatory regulating agencies, etc - - it's the Repukelican dream-list from 1980's writ large. Even when Clinton was in office he adopted a lot of Republican policies as part of his 'triangulation' tactics. Sure the Repubes will come up with some crazy crapola excuse that there weren't ENOUGH tax breaks (yeah, the govenrment didn't go ENTIRELY broke!), but that's such a transparent lie it wouldn't even make it on a playground -- kinda like saying 'I woulda scored more points if they left me in longer', after you only scored 2 points in 40 minutes in a basketball game. It's just plain OBVIOUS that if you 'de-authorize' the referees to call any fouls, or entirely remove the police from a community, the culture will quickly devolve into a 'survival-of-the-fittest' mode where the biggest/most-violent/most-predatory/most-intimidating will prevail...

(* like the Defense Depts' unaccounted-for $2.3 TRILLION -- not BILLION, but TRILLION -- which is almost THREE TIMES the amount that the Repukes were fainting about spending the latest stimulus package! See: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/620276/posts or just Google 'Rumsfeld' & 'trillion')
