We truly are a bunch of unappreciative bunch of morons incapable of appreciating the prosperous effects of rethug economic policies, as well as being a nation of whiners
$18 billion dollars in "bonuses."Social Security and Medicare are bankrupting the country!!
And people complain about working Americans wanting things like health insurance and funded pensions...or these days, paying jobs. $18 billion dollars of taxpayer money for a performance that was absolutely in the crapper.W
Keep that number in mind the next time some wingnut whines about "entitlement programs." And keep in mind that a half million dollars plus is "insufficient compensation" for these supposedly talented individuals.
These greedy sub-human mofos just kill me.....literally.
We are sooooo phukkkkkt.

Exactly UL! The Repukes can CONTINUALLY run up MASSIVE deficits -- Reagan and W especially (he alone added something like $5 TRILLION to the existing $5 trillion deficit, as I recall) by EXCESSIVE military spending, high-income tax cuts, and 'free-trade' policies -- but when the Dems try to keep the country from falling into a Depression, then the Repukes (and the right-wing radio ranters) fall into a breathless fit about deficits! As usual, it's left to the Jon Stewart show to show simple contrasts (via video footage) between what the Repukes were saying a few years ago (ie; when they were trying to denegrate concern about $12 BILLION of US money that was just plain LOST/MISPLACED in Iraq) vs what they're whining about now. There are SO many examples and SO much video footage that this should be easy news to present.
In a way, I'm not disappointed by the Repuke strategy -- I have low expectations for them which they continually meet -- but I'm really concerned by the SCLM's coverage of the Repuke's hypocritical statements as if it were valid political criticism and not just cheap political posturing! That's what may ultimately kill this democracy if we're not careful..
