Bipartisanshipness

In their continuing bid to maintain permanent minority status, GOP split on whether to reach out to moderate Dems in budget fight.

While Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., held out an olive branch to moderate Democrats known as "Blue Dogs" Wednesday, calling on his "friends" to join the GOP in opposing the budget, House Minority Leader Big John Boehner slammed the group as "lap dogs."
The double-fail: even when they're wrong, they get... wronger.

I never voted for fuckin' Paul Ryan and never will. It's just that there's more Rethuglican idiots in my district then Democrats.

Looks like you're a fellow southern Wisconsin-ite too, 'GE'. I've always wondered why these people in this part of the state support that idiot/empty-suit Ryan... haven't we lost ENOUGH manufacturing jobs in Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Janesville (Ryan's hometown, I believe), etc to fucking Reaganomics and 'globalization'? And Waukesha county where I work had the 3rd highest (out of 72 counties) % support of Repukes in the last couple of presidential elections. I guess they want to all end up working at Wal-Marts and Burger-Kings...

You got it, big em. Down here in probably the most Rethuglican county in the state, Walworth county. I don't think this county has ever carried a Democrat for anything. It was just recently that the Walworth County Democratic Party formed.

I'm surrounded by so many conservatards that I feel like a stranger in a strange land, even though I've lived here all my life....well, except for the 6 months I went totally insane and lived in Illinois. That was a big fucking mistake.
