He be da man!

RNC figurehead Steele "clarifies" abortion stance after head, party platform handed to him by irate members.

A day after GQ magazine quoted him as saying abortion was "an individual choice," GOP chairman Michael Steele said he opposes abortion and that Roe v. Wade should be overturned.

Well, OK, fair enough. But it wasn't for the medieval mental midgets in the so-called 'big tent party' --

Michael Steele was on the receiving end of a fresh round of criticism from prominent party members yesterday...

A 'leading conservative' called Steele's remarks in the magazine "cavalier and flippant," underscoring the new chairman's precarious position with party regulars concerned about his off-the-cuff style, penchant for miscues, the diss of el Rushbo, and that whole "black" thing.

Pious douchebag Mike Huckabee called the remarks "very troubling" and said, "despite his clarification today the party stands to lose many of its members and a great deal of its support in the trenches of grass-roots politics. For Chairman Steele to even infer that taking a life is totally left up to the individual is not only a reversal of Republican policy and principle, but it's a violation of the most basic of human rights -- the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

It should be left up to a committee of sanctimonious rich white men! A woman's right to choose? Feh! She should be in the kitchen choosing which to bring me first: my sandwich or my beer!

Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell responded to the interview by saying: "Chairman Steele needs to reread the Bible, the U.S. Constitution and the 2008 GOP Platform {In that order? -- Ed.} . He then needs to get to work -- or get out of the way."

That goes DOUBLE for you, jerkoff. Well, you know what I mean. Its like the march of time has no meaning whatsoever for these clowns. They're all still living in some fantasy world where they're lounging in their waistcoats in an exclusive men's club, fat stogies stuffed in their stupid fat yawps, having a few snifters of port before going home to beat up the little woman for not clearing the ashes out of the grate in the study or remembering to warm the slippers before making dinner.

The Rethuglicans are still living in the Victorian Age. They really need to move into the 21st century with everybody else and realize that women really do have the same rights that everyone else has.

Of course, if they do that, they won't be nearly as much fun to pick on.

That's a terrible thing to say about women!

They can do both at the same time!
