I may have to go sit outside with a cigar

Guys, its like 65 degrees outside. The birds are all tootling, some crocuses are ready to bloom, and I'm pretty sure I heard a couple of tree-frogs. Just a few days ago we had a snow-closing at work and it was in the single digits.

Bird people, I heard a tufted titmouse make the exact same call as a pissed-off bluejay. Are they mimics too? Or have jays been imitating pissed-off tufties all this time?

Did not know you liked cigars. I highly recommend this quality, inexpensive smoke http://www.tinderbox.com/Cremosa-Cubana-Corona-Cigars?sc=2&category=1511
Can you add them to your wish list? I'd send you a bundle.

65ยบ??? WTF - - I thought I was in early-Heaven with rainy/low 40's here in Beertown!! But - like you - we had single digits/snow around 10 days ago, so it's great!

RE: the birds -- seems hard to envision a small Titmouse (heh-heh..he said 'tit') making a noise like a big Blue Jay??

I love this blog! As a bird nerd, tufted titmice aren't mimics. But I know what sound you mean. Yeah, similar to the jay but it's coincidence.

Snowed all day today in Beantown. Damn I'm sick of this.
