White House mocks republican ire on economy

Rethugs a bunch of ultra-fail, do-nothing WATB pussies, sez spokesperson. .. for highly-popular weblog.

The White House Sunday ridiculed republican attacks on its economic revival plans as President Barack Obama eyed the green shoots of recovery this year.

"As Ronald Reagan once put it, there they go again," Peter Orsig, director of Obama's Office of Management and Budget, said on "Face the Nation."

"We've had eight years of one approach -- theirs. And it failed spectacularly. We're offering a new approach," he said, rejecting the same old tired republican prescriptions for big tax cuts for the rich and their companies. "And they can either join us or go back to kissing Limpbag's pasty white cystic ass."

At least Obama is trying to do what's right for everyone, not just the banks, Wall Street, and the rich like the Rethuglicans want to do.

I wish I could feel more optimistic about the future, but after about 30 yrs of these conservative policies -- all the jobs and whole INDUSTRIES (remember the textile industry? When we actually used to makes everyday CLOTHES in this country in huge qtys? Or shoes? Or electronics?) abandoned to the Chinese or even cheaper places, the bubbles (dot.com, stock market, housing), welfare 'reform', and all that replaced it was MORE excessive military spending -- it's hard to believe that it's going to get fixed in a short time. Obama's measures are a modest step in the right direction, but I'd guess it's going to be 4 or 5 yrs --possibly longer --before any sense of economic security returns. You just can't be a raging alkie for 20 yrs, sober up one day, and expect to be an affluent citizen the following week (assuming you're not GW Bush, Paris H, a Kennedy, or other wealthy scions).
