This reminds me of the flap over the bow to the Saudi King. BFD, at least he didn't kiss him and hold his hand the rest of the day.
On Chris Matthews today, Lawrence O'Donnell pointed out that Nixon gave Brezhnev a CAR and (presumably) a handshake. Pat Buchanan was reduced to sputtering an incoherent response.
Are these people idiots?? Haven't they heard of the camera or the tv--they take photos you can look at years later!!
