Bill 'always wrong' Kristol defends his record

Bill Kristol: Government-run health care is bad.
Jon Stewart: Why do we give our troops government-run health care then?
Kristol: Because the troops deserve the best health care in the world.

omg - i said the same thing to my wife, "this idiot doesn't even realize he's making our point for us". What I couldn't figure out was why I had to listen to the fool on Steward's show (my favorite shows, him and Colbert). Oh well, i guess I shouldn't have turned down the producers job when he offered it.

As you've mentioned before Maru, they just 'keep catapulting the propaganda'. It doesn't matter what it is or if it's true/false/impossible, because they're already reloading for the next launch. That's their core tactic/political policy, their modus operandi...'just keep firing away'. You HAVE to do that when your primary constituency is the top 5 or 10% of the wealthiest individuals in the country, you can't be openly honest about having people serve you and protect your position in society - - you have to distract them and deflect the public's interest onto issues that don't threaten 'the core'.
