Cable’s Neanderthal Network honcho bleats a request to his troops as they plan their next fragging.
Exclusive: TVNewser has learned, and a CNN spokesperson confirms, that in his morning editorial meeting today, CNN’s [cowardly] president Jon Klein asked his show producers to avoid booking talk radio hosts.Unfortunately that doesn’t apply to hate radio host and Clown Nooze Nutwork anchor Lou ‘whitey’ Dobbs, who evidently has pics of Klein cavorting with young farm animals.
"Complex issues require world class reporting," Klein is quoted as saying, adding that talk radio hosts too often add to the noise, and that what they say is "all too predictable."

Ya know, I tried to watch Dobbs a few times last year. I thought maybe an independent view point might be interesting. It might be you know, now if I could just find one on TV.
thesmoots - TV will virtually ALWAYS have an underlying commercial orientation, at least on any regular program except a couple on PBS. One of the initial 'filters' is to cut out anyone who might offend sponsors and talk intelligently about a non-consumptive lifestyle (remember Jerry Brown? Jimmy Carter? etc, and the treatment the media -- especially the little-screened one -- gave them?). It may not have been as prevalent in the first 80 yrs of the 1900's, but now it's just 'info-tainment' in between the commercials.
Earlier this week Ron Reagan (Seattle based talk radio host) was on CNN trading talking points with Larry Elder.
He gave the smack down about Palin and her "death panel". He said with her STUPID comments, all that she needed was a red rubber nose and big shoes and she could join Barnum & Bailey. He went on to slam anyone who paid attention to her lying nonsense.
The next day Klein 'asked' his producers to stop booking talk radio show hosts.
What an amazing coincidence.
