oh come on now, let's be fair. Just because they're narrow minded bigots that believe the world is 10,000 yrs old, a sperm is sentient, all colored skins mean sub-human, anyone who makes less than $50,000 a year is sub-human, they get all their info from Fox news, letting government help it's people is socialism and Obama wants to kill their Mommy; Oh hell, never mind you're right.
And yet, I'll bet you any money that these knobs are mostly the self-same assholes who were supporting all the REALLY intrusive government crap that the Cheney/W administration (and the Reagan one before that) was doing, AND supports the hyper-militarism in this country -- and it's subsequent intrusions around the world (and HOW much more intrusive can you get than BOMBING/INVADING/OCCUPYING a country[ies]??) The shitheads will complain about the supposed high cost of this health care bill, but will blindly support EVERY military expenditure -- even for weapons that have no enemy to use against, and even when we are spending more then the rest of the world combined. There are reasonable estimates that say that we could STILL be the world's most powerful military with expenditures of 1/3 of what we now spend. Also, to use the economists' jargon, spending on health care will 'circulate' money a lot more than spending it on exotic, unneeded military weapons programs which -- besides being of ambivalent morality (we sure used a lot of 'defensive' weapons when we were offensively attacking Vietnam/Balkans/Iraq/etc)-- often require exotic/expensive materials and have the inevitable markups by the weapons suppliers.
You assume they have neurons. Big mistake.
