Republicans take a pounding over health care

The public trusts Obama over the Party of No.

Months of republican attacks on President Barack Obama’s health-care proposals appear to have hurt the GOP, according to a Quinnipiac University poll.

Republicans get their lowest grades since Obama was elected on several measures:
* Voters disapprove 64 - 25 percent of the way Republicans in Congress are doing their job, with 42 percent of Republican voters disapproving;
* Only 29 percent think Republicans on Capitol Hill are acting in good faith;
* Voters trust Obama more than Republicans 47 - 31 percent to handle health care;
* Voters 53 - 25 percent have an unfavorable opinion of the Republican Party.
Ha ha ha ha ha! Suck it, pukes!
I'd write more but I'm exhausted.

Ah yes the 29%, that number is what I call the Dumbass Constant. It wouldn't matter if every Repuke in congress came over to their houses, fucked their kids and raped the dog they would approve of it.

Right you are Captain! It's like they're reflexive-Republicans... 'My parents & grandparents voted Republican so I'm going to' kind of thinking. Of course that kind of behavior (politically lazy as it may be) makes NO allowance for the fact that their parents voted for Republicans (especially the Ford/Rockefeller types) who were vastly different and more enlightened than these Neo-con-jobs. Even (shudder) Richard Nixon looks preferable when put up against W..

boy that's a fact big em. I started telling friends and family 10yrs ago that calling themselves conservative was a crock. Their promotion of making the rich richer and encouraging big business to pound the average people doesn't fit. Their growing of government power over people is a direct contradiction. And of course the last 8yrs of government growth has completely gone against conservative principles. They've been pathetic for a while but the last year they've become just a sad joke on the american people. I've fought them for 30yrs now and their only hope at this point is making the people as crazy as they are, could be but I hope not. The internet educates and communicates people to their idiotic behavior better than ever before.

Yes, siri & smoots, I agree with your perception of the MSM and the Internet. The MSM has everything filtered through a 'commercially-socially viable' filter, so if it's too contrary to middle/upper class values and/or seriously disputes normal economic policy, it doesn't make the cut, or -- more subtly -- is briefly presented as 'fringe opinion' and is quickly dismissed/explained away. Once again, I'd recommend people visiting the FAIR.org website for very accessible info on this very important (though not 'sexy') subject.
