Joe Lieberman, the independent Democrat from Connecticut, emerged Tuesday afternoon from a meeting with his caucus as the center of attention -- again.Even though his wife is a lobbyist for Big Pharma, that never factored into his decision.On his way in, he told reporters that if a public health insurance option was in the final health care bill, he would join a GOP filibuster to prevent it from getting an up or down vote.
Simple Solution to all this bullshit: The elimination of the socialist, government-run insurance plan that covers Congress and their families.
Now cover up those tiny shriveled balls, Senator.

You know, it takes some major cojones to tell people that tax dollars shouldn't pay for health insurance, when your own health insurance is being paid by tax dollars. I don't think these bastards deserve it, and I'm pissed that my tax dollars are providing health care for these moronic so-called "public servants" who are *supposed* to be doing the will of their constituents but are instead taking blood money from the corporations who have them in their pockets.

Congress does not have socialized insurance. While it is true that taxpayer money pays for their insurance, they have the same choices of insurance that all federal employees have, just like other employer provided insurance plans. Now if they would give everyone the same choices at the same price that federal employees pay, that would be a good thing.
Insurance companies created this mess and they sure as hell ain't going to fix it and kill the golder goose!!
As for Lieberman (paid shill for insurance companies headquartered in Hartford,CT.), he hasn't been a Dem in years. I'm still wondering why Gore picked him for a running mate???
