big em said...: Though I've never been there, this picture is taken in Torres del Paine, Patagonia, Chile, at the southern tip of South America. The rock formations are distinct. If you want to confirm it, you can Google it and find this You-Tube video*, and if you freeze it at the 4:21 mark you can see almost the same shot, just a slightly different angle and different lighting...

Unknown said...: I rode a dual sport motorcycle through Torres del Paine a year ago. Amazing peaks and glaciers, every lake is a different color. The wind blows at least 40 mph - the white specks on the lake are whitecaps, and there's surf on the shore, it blows so hard. Fell over twice on the gravel roads. Wonderful to see it again.; 8:58 AM
