JD Hayworth's spokesman quits after his boss compared gay marriage to marrying a horse.
Jason Rose said that the decision was "just business" and insisted that there was no rift between him and Hayworth, who is challenging the senile John McCain in the Arizona Republican primary.
Hayworth — who promotes himself as the "tea party" candidate — was unable to secure the endorsement of any of the state's four largest tea party organizations and has been plagued by numerous recent verbal gaffes.
