Patriotismtudeness
This should go over well.
Repugs plan to send huge amounts of money to China before paying off Social Security beneficiaries and other American citizens owed money.
The Administration thinks such a policy would be tone deaf. "Such a policy would also be unacceptable to American servicemen and women, retirees, and all other Americans, who would rightly reject the notion that their payment has been deemed a lower priority by their government," Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin added.
The top Democrats on the House and Senate Budget Committees call it a jaw-droppingly bad idea.
"WTF?? I think it is a dreadful idea," Sen. Ken Conrad (D-ND) said. "Basically what they are saying is, pay China first. Are we going to forget about the American public and the things that they need? Somehow they are secondary? And paying the Chinese and the Japanese is the first priority of this country? I don't even know how to describe it besides saying it sucks majorly stinky ass. Good fucking gravy."

Fearmongering idiot losing audience
Along with sponsors, radio spots, hair follicles and remaining brain cells. Eric Boehlert reports:
I've been monitoring Beck's ratings for some time and I cannot recall a streak of weeks like this where he's so consistently fallen below two million viewers. This is definitely new territory for Glenn Beck. I don't know if it's the utter sameness of the show that's driving former viewers away, but the air is clearly seeping out. Between November and the first three weeks of January, Glenn Beck has lost, on average, nearly 500,000 viewers.... his audience is down 50% from where it was 12 months ago.Must be a Hitleresque Muslim plot by liberal elite Nazis funded by George Soros. Damn them! Hee hee.
And yes, the decline comes in the wake of news that Beck's nationally syndicated radio show was recently yanked out of two of the countries largest markets, New York and Philadelphia.

Teabagger: repukes blew it
And by "it" they mean the Bush/Cheney cock. Of doooom.
Virginia Tea Party leader Jamie Radtke went after the Republican establishment Thursday during an address to the Senate Tea Party caucus.Just sayin'.
During her address to the caucus, Radtke said, "The Tea Party movement would not exist today if the Republicans had not failed under the Bush years."

"They've talked about everything but jobs"
Orange-toned juicehead the pits.
Republicons won dozens of elections last fall after claiming Democrats had focused too little on creating jobs. Now GOP lawmakers stand accused of the same charge, using their new House majority to push to repeal the president's health care law, restrict abortions and highlight other social issues important to their most conservative supporters. The abortion proposal "reflects the will of the people," wept ochre-hued liar John Boehner, who surprisingly is still employed. "It's one of our highest legislative priorities."
Please.

Is Michele Bachmann the new Sarah Palin?
Gail Collins explains in the aptly-titled "Don’t Know Much About History" in the NY Times.
And do we really need a new Sarah Palin? Shouldn’t the first one be made to go away before we start considering replacements?Considering? {shudder}
If Palin and Bachmann were your co-workers, Palin would be the one sneaking out early to go bowling, while Bachmann would stay late to reorganize the office seating chart to reflect her own personal opinion of who most deserves to be near the water cooler.Wrong about history, wrong concerning current events, taking satiric novels as personal affronts, being completely unread and possibly batshit crazy, that these twin airheads get any newstime at all is shameful. If I wanted to listen to utter crap I'd spend the rest of my life watching B-movies on Netflix.
Hmmmmm....

Douchebag outdouches own douchebaggery
"Fair and Balanced" Fux News's Steve Doocey takes time out of a weather report to read anonymous blog comments attacking a reporter who ran a piece critical of Faux:
Dude, like, WTF???

Yeah, swell
Eight more inches last night -- easy, girls -- and it took the two of us three hours to shovel out this morning. Even my butt hurts.
You people are sick.

Jews have had enough of Glenn Beck's shit
Four hundred rabbis have spent more than $100,000 on a full-page ad calling on Fox "News" to sanction out-of-control dirtbag Glenn Beck for "repeated use of Nazi and Holocaust imagery and for airing attacks on World War Two survivor George Soros."
The signatories of Thursday's letter conclude: "It is not appropriate to accuse a 14-year old Jew hiding with a Christian family in Nazi-occupied Hungary of sending his people to death camps. It is not appropriate to call executives of another news agency 'Nazis.' And it is not appropriate to make literally hundreds of on-air references to the Holocaust and Nazis when characterizing people with whom you disagree."Beck, through a spokesman, called the rabbis "Nazis."
The letter to Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes will appear today in the Faux News Corp-owned Wall Street Journal.

Fuckheads
I accidently watched CNN last night and both Wolf Blitzer and John King -- and their guests --were congratulating themselves for being the only nutwork to put Michele Bachmann's reply to the SOTU on.
BLITZER: Well, Michele Bachmann, you know, we're getting a little grief, as you know, for carrying her response live here on CNN. Did -- be honest. Did we do the right thing?Touchhole.
SOME FINGERBONING ASSHOLE NAMED MORGAN: Completely did the right thing, because to me, it is the main story. ...
BLITZER: You know, both of us are doing a lot of tweeting --
MORGAN: Yes.
BLITZER: And I tweeted earlier today, should Piers Morgan interview Michele Bachmann on your new show, "IT'S HARD TO TALK WITH A REPUBLICAN BONER DOWN YOUR THROAT"? And I said I would ask you if you want to interview her. Do you?
MORGAN: Definitely. I think she would be a great interview. I find the Tea Party phenomenon really intriguing. And right now, as I say -- I'm going to repeat it -- you know, I think it's a very important story. And I think it's the most important political story developing in America. And you know -- and MSNBC, if you don't want to run the stuff, we will at CNN proudly and correctly. This is news.
BLITZER: I totally agree.
It's shit like this that has driven me from watching cable nooze.

Michele Bachmann’s response to the SOTU marred by technical problems, Michele Bachmann
Vacant ditz was pandering to brainless followers who were actually ignoring her.
Bachmann was looking into the Tea Party Express camera and not the network pool camera that was being operated by Fox News on Tuesday night. It's the network pool camera feed that CNN broadcasts on air.Faux's? Figures.
But that wasn't the only technical difficulty. The NY Times reports that the teabagger site didn't stream Bachmann's speech as expected. Several Twitter users also noted that the livestream didn't appear to be working.Actually, the bigger WTF is that those effing whores at CNN were the only ones to air Bachmann's response. Even the teabaggers' own website didn't cover her.
Nutjob.
