Another misty morning. The tree guy should be here any minute to slaughter take down some of the trees that are throwing too much shade on the BF's veggie garden. 'They're only swamp maples!', he tells me, as if that makes everything OK. I'm a bit Druidic when it comes to chopping down live trees - it really disturbs me. But I think this is the payoff for me being able to adopt my friend's parrot and for keeping one of the kittens, so I'm gonna keep the pie-hole shut.
