NATIONAL PRESS CORP ASLEEP IN WH BEDROOM
Did anyone catch the name of that White House reporter who asked 'President' Bush the question on everyone's mind the other day? It happened right after Bush's umpteenth irritated invocation of his Harken Energy mantra: "It's been fully looked into by the SEC."
"With all respect, sir," came the voice, "some critics wonder if an SEC chief appointed by your father, and whose general counsel was the Texas Rangers' lawyer, can really be viewed as having settled the matter in ways that Americans can trust. How would you reply to them?"
