The Court-Appointed Asswipe has gone and proclaimed September 11, 2002, as "Patriot Day".
Got news for you, dumbass: we already have a Patriot's Day, celebrating the Battles of Lexington and Concord. John W in the BuzzFlash mailbag writes "you know, 'where once the embattled farmer stood and fired the shot heard 'round the world.' The Boston Marathon is tied to this event, something a runner should know, never mind a Harvard man, or is the running thing as bogus as his business career and his military service?"
From whitehouse.gov: "As we mark the first anniversary of that tragic day, we remember their sacrifice; and we commit ourselves to honoring their memory by pursuing peace and justice in the world and security at home. By a joint resolution approved December 18, 2001 (Public Law 107-89), the Congress has authorized and requested the 'President' to designate September 11 of each year as 'Patriot Day.'"
I wish they would've called it something else.
