It must be Torture Maru Day.
Someone's got issues.
Fan mail from some flounder? Just found this in my email box - it's a list of a republican's favorite music, called Conservative Pop Music -The Top 40 of the Top 40, by Bruce Bartlett of the National Center for Policy Analysis. I didn't know whether to laugh, or poke redhot forks into my eyes.

The link is above. I guess they're not really surprising, but here's some of his fave tunes:

Paul Anka, “(You’re) Having My Baby”
James Brown, “It’s a Man’s World”
Lee Greenwood, “God Bless the U.S.A.”
Jay and the Americans, “Only in America”
SSgt. Barry Sadler, “The Ballad of the Green Berets”
Tammy Wynette, “Stand By Your Man”
The Winstons, “Color Him Father”

Gee, "War" or "Fortunate Son" didn't make the cut. Someone needs to see a good psychotherapist, and it isn't me!
