SEN. BOB GRAHAM (D-Florida): This is not a singular incident. There’s been a pattern of deceit throughout this administration. If the standard that was set by the House of Representatives relative to Bill Clinton is the new standard for impeachment, then this clearly comes within that standard.

And some pills make you stupid
JOSH GREEN (Editor, Washington Monthly): I think you got the wrong “Alice in Wonderland” metaphor. I mean I’m sitting here seeing Democrats in better shape, seeing the Bush administration in worse shape than it’s been in months. All these questions unanswered. The American people are angry. Anyone in their right mind would want an independent commission...

JOHN FUND (Liar, abuser of women, hysteric, the Wall Street Journal): Do you justify the use of the word impeachment, Josh? Come on...

JOSH GREEN: The Republican standards that you were promoting years ago, absolutely.

JOHN FUND: ... you raise that issue at anyone’s peril.

BILL PRESS:  Forget what Bob Graham said. The point I’m making is this is a serious issue. When the White House admits the president misled the American people. If Democrats are accused of playing politics because they talk about that, well, you know what?  Too damn bad.

JOSH GREEN: ... hold on a minute. You know, Bob Graham wasn’t the one who landed the plane on the aircraft carrier either. So when you’re talking bout politicizing war and things like that...it goes both ways.

JAN HOPKINS (CNN anchor/lightweight): But you know, a lot of people say that the buck stops with the president.

SEN RICHARD SHELBY (R-Hypocrite): Well, I disagree with that.
