Family values and the sanctity of marriage
I heard on newsradio 880 this morning that the reason ultra-rightwing Rupert Murdoch's son and heir Lachlan resigned his executive position on Friday was due to his dad giving more control of the company to the children of his third wife. Which is kind of bizarre seeing how they're still in preschool.
Fun fact: Murdoch's first marriage ended in divorce in 1960. In 1961 he married an employee, who he 'divorced acrimoniously' in 1998 after she found out he had been having a 'long-running affair' with another employee, who was 40 years his junior. She is now wife number three.
