Bush authorized Libby to leak to the press
"Yore doin' a heckuva job, Scooter."
Scooter Libby has testified that he gave information from a closely-guarded "National Intelligence Estimate" on Iraq to a New York Times reporter in 2003 with the specific permission of the president, according to a new court filing.
Libby is said to have testified that "at first" he rebuffed Dick Cheney's suggestion to release the information because the estimate was classified. However, Cheney subsequentlypointed a loaded .57 said he got permission for the release directly from Bush.
The court papers from Patrick Fitzgerald do not suggest that Preznit Values and Personal Responsibitude violated any law or rule. However, the new disclosure could be awkward for the president because it places him, for the first time, directly in a chain of events that led to a meeting where the identity of Valerie Plame was traitorously provided to a reporter.

So what does this mean? Will Bush fire himself? Wait... Breaking news on CNN! "US Representative Cynthia McKinney apologizes for altercation with Capitol Police officer." Sigh.
