Sorry - work has been a real suckjob.

Holy Joe's pathetic Hail Mary pass

Anxious to move Iraq to the backburner, Lieberman dug deep into his long history in the Senate to find a reason why Connecticut voters shouldn't send him packing tomorrow. The biggest selling point he came up with?

"I don't hate Republicans," he said, while arguing that he wasn't President Bush's "best friend and enabler."

Talking points for the ages.

John at AmericaBlog and Christy at firedoglake post on how the pathetic, lazy-ass MSM is getting it wrong:
Joe Lieberman is a victim of the anti-incumbent, anti-Republican times in which we live. He is not a victim of the peace movement. He is not a victim of the Iraq war.

The problem isn't Lieberman's instincts, it's his actions. He has not acted in a collegial and bipartisan way. He has undercut his own party in an extremely partisan way, and has embraced a president who is incompetent and become a prime defender of that president's greatest failure. It isn't bipartisanship when you cross party lines to embrace and prop up failure. It's crazy.
And if you want to get really disgusted, read this.
