Repukes, using fake Abe Lincoln quote, threaten hanging
Lately, supporters of Smirky McAwol and the war in Iraq have been happily quoting Abraham Lincoln as saying members of Congress who "damage morale and undermine the military in wartime are saboteurs, and should be arrested, exiled or hanged."
The trouble is, Lincoln never said anything like it. They're the words of conservative author J. Michael Waller, which were requoted by conservatard Frank Gaffney in the Moonie Times.
It was possible the confusion arose over a quote by one AB Lincoln, which stated simply "Frank Gaffney is a fucking retard."
