Republican support for "political hack" Gonzales erodes like Dick Cheney's credibility
"No leading Republican in Congress has stepped forward to defend Gonzales - a sign that any political support he once enjoyed has virtually disappeared."

Plus: Karl, misadministration thugs busted trying to pin the blame on former employee: the White House finally dropped its laughable contention that gooey Bush cheerleader Harriet Miers first raised the idea of firing the US attorneys, blaming "hazy memories," as e-mails surfaced that shed new light on the actions and possibly criminal role of WH svengali Karl Rove.

"We know that Karl recollects Harriet having raised it and his recollection is that he dismissed it as not a good idea," WH spokesliar Tony Snow had said on Friday. "It was all her fault."

Integrity.
