[Dick "always wrong" Cheney] repeated his assertions that al-Qaida was tied to Saddam Hussein's Iraq on Thursday even as the Defense Department released a report citing more evidence that the prewar government did not cooperate with the terrorist organization.In all fairness, he may never had read anything but the report falsified by the Pentagon.
Captured Iraqi documents and intelligence interrogations of Saddam Hussein and two former aides all confirmed that Hussein's regime was not cooperating with al-Qaeda before the US invasion of Iraq.
Yeah, right.
