GOP senator, in true rethuglican fashion, blames media for guilty gay sex plea
Larry Craig, who was gay, then not gay, then resigning, then not resigning, then resigning again, may not resign after all and will take back his guilty plea because dammit, he really isn't gay.
Sen. Craig should be allowed to withdraw his guilty plea in a sex sting because he was under extreme stress after being hounded by journalists asking questions about his sexuality, his lawyer argues with a straight ... ahem ... face.
Craig, a gay hypocrite-Republican, pleaded guilty in August following a gay sex sting operation in a men's bathroom at the Minneapolis airport. His lawyer, William Martin, said he will file court documents Monday trying to undo that decision so Craig can fight the charge.

"He admits to going into the bathroom, he admits to moving his foot, he admits to reaching his hand down," Martin said. "He admits to making 'lip-smacking' and 'pig-squealing' noises and making an 'O-ring' symbol with his fingers. But that's not a crime."

So if I understand this correctly, he was so concerned about the press reporting that he is gay that he decided it would be better to plead guilty to a lesser charge steming from a gay sex sting operation.
It staggers the imagination to think of the depth of inteligence our national leaders operate under.
