Member of Pennsylvania's Republican party resigns after being accused of raping another man.
With questions buzzing and investigators working, Cumberland County's two remaining commissioners quietly accepted the resignation today of colleague Bruce Barclay, who is the focus of a rape investigation. No criminal charges have been filed.Barclay, identified on Fox News as a Democrat, quit Wednesday after it surfaced that state police are investigating a man's rape allegation against him.

I think it should be noted that Bruce Barclay was acquitted of the rape charge. Turns out the accuser just went after his money.
