Ah, diplomatude. The Bush WH has insulted yet another head of state, this time their erstwhile pal, the Italian Prime Minister.
The Bush misadministration today apologized to Prime Minister Silvio "Fingers" Berlusconi, one of its staunchest allies in Europe, for a biography handed out to White House reporters at the G8 summit that called him 'one of the most controversial leaders in the history of a country known for governmental corruption and vice.'Fuck. As a person of partial-Italian descent, I guess I should be grateful they didn't call him a garlic-reeking mafioso with a back-hair problem. Whose wife has a mustache and whose mistress did porn shoots with donkeys.
