Prepared on day 1!

Not. Experience! Uh, no. Ready to... ack!!!!! Wrong. So very, very wrong.

The straight-talking McMaverick campaign is now trying to deep-six the VP debate out of fear that moose-killing pitbull barracuda Sarah Failin will be an unmitigated disaster:

Asked about campaign chief Steve Schmidt’s comment, given Palin’s inability to participate in congressional deliberations, a spokeswoman told reporters “We are part of the McCain-Palin campaign. It is one ticket."

Since Palin was selected as McCain’s running mate in late August, she’s appeared at 21 rallies, most of which were at McCain’s side, has yet to hold a press conference, has conducted less than a handful of national media interviews and has pulled out of several fundraising appearances.

What, she hasn't memorized her answers yet? We agree with BuzzFlash, who says the McChickenshit camp is using this trumped-up "McCain must be in DC!1!" excuse to say the first Obama/McCoward debate should replace the VP debate -- which would be rescheduled for a date "yet to be determined." The manly war hero is running scared. Cutting and running, one might say.

McCain supporter Lindsey Graham (R-Pantywaist) tells CNN the McCain campaign is proposing that if there's no bailout deal by Friday, the first presidential debate should take the place of the VP debate, currently scheduled for next Thursday, October 2 in St. Louis.

BuzzFlash reminds us: a NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll has shown Mooselini to be a major drag on the ticket, even worse than Grampy McSenile, who is losing a point or two each day the economy is in the headlines. Alaska is picking Biden over their governor. Even Fox News -- the gpuke propaganda nutwork -- has McCain lower than Obama.

And nope, this 'bold, mavericky' decision by the McInsane camp is not going over well at all.
