"Reformer" Failin will not cooperate in 'Troopergate' probe

Bringing change to Washington, huh? In trying to kill the 'Troopergate' scandal, McCain again goes directly to the Karl Rove playbook: stonewall the investigators while releasing whatever you can to smear the other party, and point fingers at the Democrats in mock outrage.

Ethically-challenged republican -- but I repeat myself -- Sarah Palin will not cooperate with a legislative inquiry into her firing of an Alaska official, labeling the probe "partisan."
Boy, that sounds awfully familiar! Who's her lawyer, anyway, Alberto Gonzales? Someone from Dick Cheney's office?

Yerp, the McMaverick campaign is trying to squelch 'Troopergate' -- by not having their top 'reformer for change' answer any questions. Good one.

The presidential campaign of John McCain is trying to put to rest the ethical controversy that's come to be known as "Troopergate," releasing e-mails [allegedly] supporting [malicious fascist] Sarah Palin's contention that she dismissed her public safety commissioner over budget disagreements, not because he wouldn't fire her ex-brother-in-law.

"Rather than cooperating with the investigation, the Republican presidential campaign is doing everything it can to stall and smear," said Patti Higgins, chairwoman of the Alaska Democratic Party.

McCain campaign spokeswoman Meg Stapleton denigrated Walt Monegan at a news conference Monday, accusing the three-decade cop of "insubordination," "obstructionist conduct" and a "brazen refusal" to follow proper channels for requesting money.

Why does the McSame campaign hate our first-responders?
