Compassionate Conservatism 101

STFU you whiners

During today’s press briefing, White House press secretary Dana Peroxide suggested the Bush administration would oppose any effort to extend jobless benefits — a stance the White House has taken before. She explained their position by saying, “we want people to be able to return to the workplace as soon as possible.” The suggestion was that extending benefits somehow prevents people from returning to work.
She concluded by saying that “the best way to help” the economy and unemployed people is for unemployed people to simply “get back to work.”
This has been another episode of "It's NOT socialism if it benefits the wealthy.
Thank you and get your ass back to work!

It's only Socialism when it helps the average person. When you give tons of money to the CEO's, the rich and the corporations, that's just good kapitalism. And to get that money, you raise the taxes and user fees on the little people, but that is the way the game is played. Have you seen what it costs to register a beater of a car in a state with so-called low taxes like Tejas, especially if you bring it in from another state?? It's more than some cars are worth.
