Fuckin' Clintons, dumped the cat on an underling on the way out the door. Socks made a nice prop.

Socks was Chelsea's cat and she went away to college. Bill & Hill were traveling all the time. People who love their cat will always want someone who dotes on kittehs to take loving care of the darling when their lives no longer permit the high level of attention a cat deserves. Socks got exactly that living out his life with Betty.
Socks, R.I.P., you darling. I harbored fantasies of running you for President. Not all of us hate the Clintons and demonize their every move.
Betty Currie took good care of Socks - i am sure he had a nice post-presidency
